Foot and Cycle Bridge

A landmark foot and cycle bridge will cross Ramsden Dock, linking the business park on Barrow Island to the village and watersports centre in central Barrow.

A design competition is being planed to provide a landmark bridge that will be instantly identifiable with the port of Barrow and provides impressive views from Michaelson Road Bridge and from the marina village.
